WAYANAD JOB FEST 2010

Industries and Production form the backbone of a nation. Technically skilled workforce is the most important element in the development of these sectors. Recruitment of dexterous manpower is setting new standards in the modern era. The Indian society is stepping into globalisation and industrialisation at a rapid pace. Every available resources of skilled labour must be exploited to the fullest, so as to keep track with the fast growing economy.

The main objective of the "Job Fest" is to promote employment by creating an opportunity for employers to meet their demands on a common platform. In spite of the rapid economic growth and development of industries, trained personnel lack awareness of the oportunities and are thus deprived of the benefits. Wayanad Job Fest 2010 is a unique venture and a pioneering concept, designed to cater to the increasing needs of skilled manpower in and outside the region. It will be the second time in the District, that the exployee and employment seekers are brought under one umbrella. This long awaited event is getting materialised in Wayanad, the "land of paddy fields and spices". Wayanad District Administration and Industrial Training Department of Kerala State are jointly organising "Wayanad Job Fest '2010" at AITECC ITC, Sulthan Bathery on 18th & 19th January, 2010.

This event will be a bridge between Industrial Training Institutions and Potential employers, thereby enabling technically skilled job seekers to grab the opportunity for placement.
